8 Weeks Along!!
Today, we were seen for our “first” prenatal appointment! We got another ultrasound and this time, my mom came with Brad and me. This appointment will forever embed itself in my memory because today, we got to SEE the heartbeat!! It was so strong and immediately my mom started crying…like a grandma should! We could see the baby's body move ever so slightly and that was amazing too see! In this picture, the baby's head is in the lower right hand corner. I guess it was on it's back when the picture was taken! Dr. Fergerson printed out more pictures for me too add to my scrap-book and gave one to my mom that said “Hi Nanni” on it! After the ultrasound was over, we made our appointment for our first early pregnancy class and the follow up appointments. We also filled out a TON of paperwork to get enrolled into the prenatal program. We got a lot of fun reading material that should keep us pretty busy!
